As many life coaches and therapists will attest, learning to love yourself is one of the hardest, most important lessons you will ever undertake. Begin here
On your journey through life, you are forever your own partner. Others may come and go–some more quickly than others–but you are stuck with you from the beginning to the end. If you don’t learn how to accept yourself and love yourself, then you are in for a long and miserable ride.
Loving yourself is a major key in discovering the Truth of Who You Really Are, laying your hands on the hidden internal blueprint within you, and pursuing your higher purpose in life.
Without love, life is a quagmire of fear–which, sadly, is what the Old Paradigm would have you believe is the only way to live–but with it, you can find the happiness in every moment of your existence.
Love is the sum total of all emotions–it is the awareness of how your life’s experiences embolden your spirit and brighten your day–and we don’t allow ourselves to revel in it nearly enough.
When you love yourself, you will love life and all it has to offer.
Learning to Love Yourself | Trust Your Guide
None of us go through life alone. There is a guide within each of us, a Divine Power, that will help us pursue our higher calling if we just choose to listen.
Very often, people don’t listen to their hearts. This is a mandate from the Old Paradigm–a habit that we’ve formed after years of focusing on the power of fear and the outside needs of our daily lives. When we don’t listen to our hearts, we end up promoting our unhealthy defense mechanisms. When we don’t listen to our hearts, we fall back in the routines that cause us inevitable pain and suffering. Old wounds can never heal if you continually lead yourself into spiritual violence.
The New Paradigm tells us that our hearts aren’t just talking for the sake of talking. They aren’t spouting off nonsense. Instead, they are telling us what we need to do to become happier, more fulfilled people.
The Divine Guide is part of you, found in every fiber of your being:
- It lives in your soul
- It uses your heart as its voice
- It employs your muscles to act
You can choose to ignore the guide and go on looking down on yourself, or you can choose to heed the advice and begin the road to learning to love yourself.
Learning to Love Yourself | Your Magnificent Power
You are far more powerful than you give yourself credit for. In fact, you have more power and strength within you than you could even possibly imagine.
The Old Paradigm tells us that we must force change in the world around us in order to create a niche in which we can happily live. But using force creates a violence between you and the world without; it strains your spirit and injures your environment, causing neither of you to benefit much from the effort.
The truth is that the external reality is highly affected by our internal energies. If we learn to harmonize ourselves with our worlds, then change will happen in a mutually beneficial way.
One of the first steps towards creating this harmony is learning to love yourself. Accept your faults, celebrate your successes, never stop learning, and always treat yourself with kindness and respect. The internal vibrations this positivity creates within you will have an enormously favorable effect on your external reality.
